It’s extremely versatile, portable and easy, which is why I would rank this as one of the best DLP projectors. It starts at under $1,000, and has a 3 year limited warranty.
BenQ PB6200 DLP Portable Projector: Again, I would consider this projector as being one of the best DLP projectors out there when it comes to value and portability. It’s 5.6 pounds, and although not nearly as light as the NP50, it makes up for the extra weight by providing excellent features and price. It starts at $720 and provides XGA resolution [1024 x 768], 1700 lumens, a 2000:1 contrast ratio and 2000 hours of lamp life. If you’re looking to buy a quality projector but don’t need the extra features of the NP50, then the PB6200 is a great alternative that will save you some money at the same time.
Optoma EP7155 DLP Portable Projector: When I compare DLP projectors, value is one of the biggest factors that I consider. The EP7155 is packed with 2500 lumens and a 2500:1 contrast ratio which delivers easy-to-see, excellent image quality in a well lit room. It’s also extremely portable and compact at only 3.2 pounds, and has an “eco-mode” option that can extend the lamp life up to 3000 hours. On top of all that, the EP7155 comes with a plethora of connections; USB, Audio-In, S-Video, Composite, HDMI, and VGA-In. It’s only $815, too, making it one of the best DLP projectors around when it comes to value. You won’t have to worry about location, quality, or price when it comes to using the EP7155.
InFocus X2 DLP Portable Projector: At $700, this is the cheapest DLP projector on the list. If you’re low on budget, and you don’t think that you’ll need all the flashy features of the above projectors, then you should definitely consider the X2. It only has SVGA resolution [800 x 600] which is lower than the rest, but it’s perfect for most presentations – especially slide shows. It has 1600 lumens for brightness and a 2000:1 contrast ratio. It’s also heavier than the previous DLP projectors on the list at 6.8 pounds. Regardless, it’s a fine choice when it comes to choosing a great DLP projector. Value here is the name of the game!
